Life on the move.

I have not posted in a while largely because I was interviewing for jobs around the country. As an aside, airplane seats were designed by the evil offspring of Torquemada and the Marquis de Sade.

My search has been successful and I will be leaving the Pacific Northwest.

(the Halleluah's are resounding)

(still resounding)

(echoes are still ringing)

I am going to the University of Mississippi. No snow, bar b que, everything I could hope for.

It is a great opportunity and I am very excited to take it on.

Also, I read Jarod Cunningham's Guns, Germs and Steel, George Crile's Charlie Wilson's War: The Extraordinary Story of how the Wildest Man in Congress and a Rogue CIA Agent Changed the History of Our Times, and Brian Greene's The Fabric of the Cosmos: Space, Time and the Texture of Reality. I recommend them all to you.

Movies lately have been rather awful. War of the Worlds was absurd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was creepy, and Stealth was so bad it was out of focus for a great deal of the movie which actually improved things.

Despite the BBQ there are those who might think Mississippi is not the most happening place on the planet.
