Congressional spending

I saw part of a speech by Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn on C-Span 2 last evening in which he decried wasteful government spending, rampant fraud and abuse in government programs, and earmarks writ large. An interesting speech, the text of which is available via Thomas at the link above. Coburn is many things and not all of them positive, but he is a man of conviction and seems truly dedicated to cutting government spending.
